My vote strongly goes to BFG A/Ts.....good for almost anything.....even better then some M/Ts on the market. Perhaps SCSL will chime in, he run them and wheels like a crazy mofo.
That being said, like RoverX mensioned, there is nothing better then your run of the mill M/T tread.....it eats up everything but ice better then any A/T.....and I agree, the BFG/Dunlop/Firestone, etc. etc. etc.....the standard sized (hehe....non-interco) 3-lug design is very comfortable on the road and pretty good wear too.
IMHO, it would be much better to go with a mud terrain if you spend that much time going off-roading.

Where your truck or car meet the mud and road is NOT a place to save money. That is a lesson I learned once, and I will never need it taught to me again.
So keptin, your head would have probably exploded when I told the dearler to dump the Goodyears on my '03 and put on XPC's before I picked the truck up new...lol
