Good question.

1. I would not mind the adjustable ride height. I drive around my senior citizen folks around and had to put Manik bars so they can get in. The second advantage would be drop the truck when streetparked, making it harder to steal.

2. OEM airbag parts would be cheap on my end since I now have a hook. However, I think placement of new double shock towers and put third party airbags either next or on top of the towers would be better.

There is a lot of new airbag tech out there, just view the Powerblock on SpikeTV. Quite a few advertise on there over the weekends.
