I guess it depends on your terrain. In Fl we dont have snow so it isnt a big deal. For ATs I agree BFG is a good choice. Strong 3ply sidewall. They are weak in the mud down here, compared to pretty much any MT, but mud and water is pretty much all we see. Ive had the BFGs MTs and really liked them. Great in the mud, although they do clog, but so do most other MTs in the same stuff. If your gonna wheel mud your going to want a mud tire for sure. The BFG MT is not bad on the street. The Bridgestone MT is a nice tire as well. Very nice road manners and pretty quiet, especially when new! Ran those too many years ago when I was debating MTs vs ATs. Only downfall is 2ply sidewalls, so get roadside! Gordo
