this might sound wierd but check the ignition dist. pickup air gap,its the only thing I've ever seen cause a hot start or at times stalling problem when hot.
1) carefully remove the dist cap and rotor (you might have to break the rotor if it wont come off easy) or you will wreck the dist.
2) remove the plastic cover that says DO NOT ADJUST covering the pickup assy
3) use a brass feeler gauge and check the pickup clearence and adjust it to .010 thou. inch it will change even though the say it wont.
4) add loctite to the set nuts (brass) they are probbly finger tight by now.
also make sure your fuel pressure regulator vaccum hose is hooked up. I
dont think thats it though.
