Ditto on that one Paul, I used to have EAS, as well. It really didn't matter what I had as long as there was some sort of 4x4 suspension under there.
Since there is no use for the EAS buttons on the dash on my 94 LWB with the newer soft dash, I might remove the buttons and see if there is a solid mount in there, which might be used for a adjustable arm to attach a GPS unit or place to hold other electronics while on the trail.
Also on the instrument cluster, my EAS amber light is on cause the whole set of things was disabled, shocks replaced, but the resevoir tank under the driver's side chassis is still there, and of course the buttons. So might be removing the tank as it is in good condition and the buttons and sell them off.
