The springs were already there, the thing that made the truck go up and down was the shocks that are filled with air and depressed to go up and down. Now you obviously have replacement Bilsteins, that should last you a long time, like a good few years or more, worth. This already makes me assume that the compressor assembly was removed from the truck, which I think mounted under the passenger side chassis, and the tank under the driver side chassis.  Changing the bushings won't really do anything, I think, but then again never had to, in order to see what difference it would make.
