Not sure how the Gems/Bosch engines differ behind the dash, if they do at all, but there's a shortcut where you don't have to remove the dash.
You open your glovebox, drill a hole in the side of your glovebox which allows a long screwdriver to reach a hidden screw that allows access to the o-rings...
