Question regarding Whine noise?

Before I get started please forgive my username... I have had Jeeps in the past and used that as my username everywhere, so it is difficult to change it!
anyway, I recently bought a 00 series 2 LR Disco V8 and I have a question.... I have been looking through the site and think I know the answer to this question, but I want to ask it anyway.
There is a weird whine noise that comes from my disco when I get above 50km/h, it is a very slight noise but grows till about 100km/h. It only happens when I am accelerating and at about 90/95 km/h you can hear it quite clearly if you just sit on that speed. I have had it back at the dealership twice and both times been told it is normal sound, but I am not 100% sure. After reading other people's accounts on here I think it must just be a LR quirk.. but just want to be sure.
I think it might be the diff or transmission as it only occurs when accelerating.
Any thoughts? The Disco has 70,000 Km's on the clock.
