Question 92 V8i (Dual Fuel) - How to replace the fuel pump? AND an LPG problem... Please help!

I have a 1992 Dual Fuel Disco. I have 2 problems, and I was wondering if someone could help. I'm not massively mechanically minded, but I will try to change parts myself before paying someone else to do it!

My first problem is that I have been told that my fuel pump has burned out - this is highlighted by the fact that the car doesn't run on Petrol, but runs fine on Gas.

Where on the V8i is the Fuel Pump located? Does anyone have a photo of where it is and roughly what it looks like? I thought it was going to look cylindrical - is that correct?

Also, a few weeks ago, I had the Disco "serviced" because it was only filling up on approx half the anticipated amount of Gas. I could get in about £15.00 in the twin tanks that SHOULD take around £25.00. I was admitedly getting the correct amount of mileage for my £15.00

HOWEVER since having it serviced, I can now get about £25.00 - £28.00 of Gas in the car BUT I'm now only getting approx 100 miles to a full tank whereas I should get around 180 miles of town driving, and 220-ish miles of motorway driving.

What could be causing this? My problem is that I have moved from south of London to Scotland, and cannot get the car back to the garage that serviced it before I moved...
