Hey dude, welcome to the forum! As far as the leaking power steering fluid...try the lucas power steering stop leak. It's pretty thick stuff and will slow/stop the leak if it's not too major.
But don't stress out about the leaks...it's a rover...it's gonna leak. If it stops leaking...it's empty.
