I had that idea too but the diameter of the piston stem that attaches to the female connection to the brake pedal linkage is different. I probably can get round the different number of bolts that attach it to the chassis.
Does anyone know if the piston from a series 1 brake master cylinder will fit a later cb type cylinder?
