John C. ripped out his headliner and painted it I believe with regular house paint (white).. looks great.
I'd also consider POR-15 if you want to do it... keep it nicely sealed for life..
If you want to go the truck bed liner route, i just picked up a herculiner kit from pepboys for like $70 bucks..
