This "problem" has been already addressed elsewhere. The problem is not with the Bosch plugs.

The problem is the type of ignition wiring you are going to use with the Plat +4s. If you are going to use those plugs, you gotta use premium wires so the full secondary voltage is not lost in the wiring. That way you will have the optimium energy transfer from the coil or coil pack to the combustion chamber.
I have been running Plus 4s for 10 months with no compliants. The D1 starts right up. The mechanic changed the wiring and the plugs at the same time. I have the GEMS setup with the NAS 4.0.
Nothing wrong with the plugs. If you want the plugs, you gotta use the right wires. That is the price you pay when you want to move up. You need the good stuff at every part of the chain. It is only as strong as the weakest link.
Some owners use Magncor wires , others Taylor, others Bosch (OEM). I look at my and they look like Bosch. I prefered Accel myself or Taylor but then I have to make my own wires with the stock kits.
What a chore and I don't have the time right now.
