It would be nice to get the final answer on the plugs....
I wish I had access to:
an ignition analyzer and two identical Discos in every way including the number of scars and scuffmarks , drop X wires and plugs and go against Bosch +4s. I would like to see the results with NGK, Champion, even those new Iridium plugs. Run them and see how they do in a 4.0 V8.
Let the analyzer show what is going on and photograph the output.
Finally , throw (well , you cant really throw a LR onto a Dyno, but hey) the both of them on the dyno before and after and see which smells like roses.
