Also if you want one of the best gear oils out there, and I am a big promoter of Lucas also, try some of this gear oil from Superior Axle down in Riverside, Ca.
You can find it in some performance shop or order on line. I have been using it ,going on 4 years, because I run a Detro and a T.T.. Detroits can be a little noisey and this oil keeps them running very smoothly. By the way, I also run this in my t/case to help off set the heavy amount of CDL wheeling I do.
The big plus for this oil is that most gear oils are rated as a GL4, good oils are GL5 and this stuff is a GL6. Try finding a bottle with that sort of rating in your favorite auto parts store.
