Bought the welder this weekend after finishing the lift. Hobart 180...
Nice little mig welder. I wont be welding anything over 1/4 inch so it should allow me plenty of room to work.
The front bumper is a must... I have seen plenty of custom jobs I like and modeling a new bumber from those should not be too difficult. Next weekend I am going to start the roof rack. Getting started is the hardest part. Plan on making out of EMT 1 inch conduit. I am sure i will have to experiment some... if I can not get it looking good I wont put in on. Lots of planning and lay out before I start bending pipe.
Like most projects I am sure I will start with a basic design and build off that for light mounts front and real. Still working on the flooring.
