When I got my truck, the right headlight sprayer was broken off and sprayed diagonally forward (great for screwing with people at traffic lights), and the left one was just gone. So, I went one step further than plugging the hoses, I removed them entirely from the vehicle, and unplugged the leader going to the pump for it. If you're lazy, you can just remove the fuse for the headlight sprayers instead of plugging the hoses, and you're less likely to get leaks that way.
