the main reason for pulling the CDL was the ignorant owners who locked the CDL and drive around on pavement, only to demand warranty on the thousands of dollars worth of broken parts.
The Rubi is a cool thing, if you can deal with the other shortcomings in comfort, size etc. Since the Rubi is targeted at people who know what it can do and how it works, there's less chance they'll engage the lockers and break it all to hell on pavement.
Look at how Jeep promotes their stuff too- they actually market their stuff as opposed to just sitting there waiting for someone to buy like Land Rover does.
