You mean PCV tubes or Vent tubes on the fuel tanks.

if it is the PCV tubes I know exactly what they are trying to diagnose.

1400 dollars sounds like the addition of the Intake plenum.

they also cause problems and rattle alot.

but they dont cause major issues that wont disable the vehicle. Just get real annoying.

The PCV tubes need to be replaced. If not they will cause 0174 and 0171 codes along with a few misfires. Oddly enough the engine doesn't have bad coils at all.

the tubes you can do yourself. The big one is easy and the little one isnt too bad either. Anyway, Do live in an area that gets really cold? With temps below minus four degrees below Zero.
