I already posted this in discoweb, so no need to post twice for those who venture around... but I am looking to go away this weekend for my birthday, a bit dismayed that I missed out on SAE 2009 but still wanting to have some fun myself...

I have searched and read about suches, tiger, war woman, caney fork and beasley. I did beasley about 3 months ago but I have not been to suches in years. Does anybody have a google map or other reference points on the other trails. Are they even open...

thanks in advance. I promise to take pictures and update people on the condition since the rains...

Do you know MTS?
MTS is High-definition MPEG Transport Stream video format, commonly called "AVCHD", used by Sony, Panasonic, and other HD camcorders and based on the MPEG-2 transport stream. MTS file supports 720p and 1080i HD video formats.
And AVCHD stands for "Advanced Video Codec High Definition". This format was jointly established by both Panasonic and Sony in 2006.

Everglades Expedition IV: rattlers and gators

it was a spur of the moment trip with Patrick and Bimmershark today. Drove down jane's scenic route. saw a ton of gators, managed to slap one's tail before it shot off into the water because "the mean human scared him". We then drove out into the Picayune strand which quickly turned into a bath for the rover as the "road" which is marked on my GPS quickly turned into door sill deep water with fish and all.

we figured the day was over so we hit some pavement and began to make the long drive back, but before we could make it to civilization we found 2 rattlesnakes crossing the road and a bunch of quail. enjoy the pics.
