Every year, my family will have a big party and all the members will get together. We have a very nice time on each year's party. And from the year 2000, I record the party and share with my family. I enjoy the work every much, while when I share the video or the DVD, it is really a big problem. But now I can solve it with only a few clicks.

So I writ this article to show you guys how to deal with dvd and video stuff.

Part 1: How to Rip DVD on Windows and Mac

First Let me explain what is rip DVD. When I talk about “Rip DVD”, it means I will convert DVD video/movie to video format and you can play the video/movie without the disc. Of course, the original DVD will not be hurt.

For Windows users:
You need a DVD Ripper.

Step 1: Load your DVD to it
Step 2: Choose output profile
Step 3: Start Conversion

For Mac users:
Step 1: Download DVD Ripper for Mac.

Step 2: Load you DVD
Step 3: Choose output profile
Step 4: Start Conversion

Part 2: How to Copy DVD video/movie to another DVD Disc
To Copy a DVD to a blank DVD Disc you need a DVD copy Software and a DVD +/- RW Drive and a blank DVD Disc.

Step 1. Choose Source:
The source of this DVD Copy software can be: DVD disc, ISO image file and DVD folder
Step 2. Preparation
Before you click the “Start” button,
1. You can choose to copy the full disc or the main movie.
2. You can choose the audio, subtitle of the copy.
3. You can change the name of the volume.
4. You can choose to “include menu” or “skip menu” or neither of them.
Step 3. Choose Target:
You can copy your source to 3 target: DVD disc, ISO image and DVD folder
Step 4: Start Copy

Part 3: How to Convert Video
Here you need a Video Converter to help you.

Step 1: Add Video
Step 2: Choose output profile
Step 3: Start Conversion

A few months back I hit a rock with force on the bottom outside edge of the bullbar. It did not push the bullbar back, but it twisted the end up. So the front of the bullbar was ok. So it was a matter of how do you untwist it without pulling the bullbar forward. I had thought about a number of ways, but it involved removing the guard, bullbar, etc. Once the bullbar was removed, it would be too difficult to get the leverage required. A couple of people that had similar problems in the past reckoned I would not be able to get it back. So the photos below are how I got the leverage (through welding a bar to the bullbar) and how that side of the bullbar is now basically perfect.

I did search within this forum and on Google, but I still haven't found what I am looking for. My local LR parts dealer is a crook, and I won't deal with them. I am looking for someone who has the parts and knows what they are talking about.

Which retailers do you guys prefer when it comes down to shipping rates, service and selection? I'm having trouble finding reasonable shipping rates on parts I have found, many retailers are simply adding profit to shipping rates. ( $35 shipping on brake hose clips? seriously? )

I don't need any oddball parts, but I've been shopping for things like rebuilt calipers, bearing kits, tie rod ends and brake lines/hoses etc for my 97 Discovery XD.

Suggestions?

Really appreciate any info you can offer.

My second Rover to date. Previous was 1988 3.5. Great truck drove it tons of miles gutless as hell. I just purchased my 1998 and it has several known issues. I already pulled the shim on the ac compressor to get the ac to work(thanks for the info) and now it works like a charm. I thought that was all my hvac problems but I still have the testbook on the hvac controls illuminated. It was in the 50's tonight so I tried the heater and it won't blow hot air. Distrobution doors seem to work as air moves to and from all vents as directed but the heater won't blow any hot air at all. Exterior temp sensor works great and matches exterior temp on the nose. Previous owner replaced heater o rings but I'm not sure if I should dive right into the blend doors or check anthing else first. I haven't felt the pipes to ensure hot is even getting through or to the heater core. Fuses check out. Pulled pollen filters and they were filthy and now the are out completely waiting for replacement. I was hoping the problem might be the heater core temp sensor. I'll try to find it tomorrow. Not sure how to test it but I can at least check and see if its hooked up. Would it cause the heater not to work? The book symbol goes away but on restart weather on AC or Heat it comes back on shortly after restart. Like I said AC works great now and moves from floor to vents to window and blows cold only to both sides.
The other issue is hard starting and code 1316 but I think it the fuel pump as it only pushes 20psi and under a load drops to 14 psi. I pinched the return hose to check the pressure regulator and still only produced 20 psi max

My mom drives a mercedes which has a series of 3 beeps when the car is locked and one when unlcoked. I know the Rover sounds the horn when a door etc is not closed properly. I drive a 2008 LR2 SE. I just prefer to have an audible confirmation of the car being locked, so I was wondering if it is possible.

Also, does anyone have any idea if my dealer can install bluetooth in the car post-manufacturing? When I bought the car a few months ago the guy seemed to think so but i forgot to inquire..any idea on prices?

I have a 1996 Range Rover 4.0 SE that was running fine when I parked it the other day. Upon attempting to start it this am, it cranks but will not fire - it has been very hot here so something might have failed from excessive heat. Any ideas on what/how I can check would be appreciated - thanks!!!
