Antenna on the roof rack

Hello there. I was just thinking, would it be possible to mount an antenna on top of a roof rack? I also found this Metro Molded Antenna Mast Pad (http://www.thepartsbin.com/brands/metro_molded/metro_molded_antenna_mast_pad.html). If ever,do you think it would work with the roof rack which is an aftermarket one.

Well I decided to take off work today and go to the junkyard for stress relief and I lucked out and only spent $75.Image: http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb188/achtungschnell/hinge.jpg

I pulled these hinges because they looked beefy. Does anyone know who makes them?
Now my best find of the dayImage: http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb188/achtungschnell/winch.jpg

It did not have the remote so I will have to order one but hinges and a Mile Marker winch for $75, made my day!

Here are some photos of a couple of DII front winch bumpers we recently delivered. They will accept winches from a 8k up to a 16k Warn with remote or integrated controls. They are designed to use the factory 03'-04' fog lights, have two recovery points and can be made with an "A" bar, full brush bar or no bar at all. The Grey bumper has the corners painted similar to the 03'-04' bumpers.

Rovercity.com IS A SCAM

I would just like to warn fellow Land Rover owners that are in the market for accessories. Mohamed Kassam in Florida, owner/operator of rovercity.com, takes money and never sends the product. I had ordered a set of 2009 Range Rover Sport tail lights at a cost of $450 plus a $15 Land Rover fee and shipping and he never sent the lights. He gave me the run around until it was too late for PayPal to issue a dispute for a refund. After a few months went by of numerous ignored e-mails and voice mails, he blamed FedEx for the mix up. When I asked for the FedEx tracking numbers, he gave me bogus numbers. FedEx never received the lights for shipment. DO NOT fall into the same trap I did with cheap prices. Mohamed Kassam is a scam artist that takes good hard earned money and never sends the product. If anyone else fell victim to this guy, please e-mail me and maybe we can do something about this thief. I'm sure I am not the only person he has done this to.

I posted this in the general forum as well, as I'm still doing research and havn't picked a truck/model yet. My question is, if the vehicle did not come equipped with a basket as an option are there any oem attachment points for a basket or is it something that requires drilling etc etc. The reason I ask is so when I am looking at vehicles, I have something to look for. I will be doing a full roof basket for winter Ice fishing excursions, and have ALOT of gear that will be travelling up there.

Thanks
