Hey guys, I'm a long time lurker here, but registered to ask if anyone has ever bought from this guy. Goes by uberwheel on ebay, also has a website called uberwheel. Sells 22 inch Rover wheels (the wife likes the look). He states that his wheels are made in Italy... but through some research found out that theyre of course made in China. I dont really have that much problem being made in China, but that the guy (name is Kirk) would intentionally mislead everyone into thinking that theyre Italian made is pretty shady. Makes me think if he's lying about that, what else is he lying about? Still interested in the product, but Im pretty sure I'll be going with another vendor. Guess Im just looking for opinions or experiences. Thanks!
I don't think black would look good cause my truck is a dark blue so I'd like to go with the factory color. Does anybody know of a specific paint that would be a good match to the factory color? Is this something I can do with the tires on and some careful taping?

I'm finding very little about P38 tires on here so I'm posting a new thread.

I have a 2002 P38 with stock rims (18") and would like to get new, larger tires. My speedo is off about 10% low currently, and the tires looks small. They are stock, 255/55/18 I think... They are wide, and do handle great on the highway, but they're about done.

Anyway, I hear a 265/60-18 will fit, so I was looking at Hankook DynaPro AT RF10 109T. Is this correct that a 265/60-18 will fit? I would like something more aggressive, but don't wheel the vehicle that much (but would if it had better tires) I would like something that is still reasonably quiet, yet rugged and tough looking, but also good on the highway since that's where this one spends most of its time. Needs to be good in snow too.

What is the max 18" tire I can put on without rubbing with stock EAS?

What tire do you run on your P38 and do you like them?

THANK YOU!

I have a 1999 DII that has lost 2" in spring compression from OE- instead of 78" in height, it is 76". After 11 years & 114k w/original shocks & springs, you kind of expect this to happen.
So, I am purchasing from Rovers North the Terrafirma HD +2" spring and +2" All Terrain Shock kit, with a Terrafirma steering stabilizer (made by Allmakes 4x4 in the UK exclusively for Land Rovers). That means that the DII will have a height increase of 4" total from what it is now.
For the tires, here in the Northeast I need something with the snowflake on the mountain symbol for HD snow use and gets good life as well- I drive up to 40k/yr.
In the stock 255/65/16 size, no a/t tire exists with the snowflake designation (the General Grabber is not certified for that designation in this size).
I can lose 1/2" in width and gain 1/2" in height with the 245/70/16 size and still use the original 16" rims with the BFG All Terrains. This only results in -1MPH @ 60 MPH. No speedo adjustment needed.
I can also use a 255/70/16 with the original rims, which would keep the footprint the same and give me 1/2" increase in height. I then have a choice of the BFG A/T (115/122S), Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor (109T), General Grabber A/T 2 (111S), or even the General Altimax Artic (111Q). This size would give me -3MPH from the speedo, and I am guessing with minimal additional wear on the driveline.
I cannot use the vaunted 265/75/16 size as it adds another 1.3" in height, which is too much at this point.
Advice from my fellow enthusiasts would be appreciated, as I am unfamiliar with most of these tires. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for reading my post. I have a 98 RR that currently has 255/55/18 tires. I'm looking to upgrade my wheels and have found some 16 that I like. Would 16" wheels fit my RR? Would I have to do anything special or buy anything else in order to install them? I would probably just take it to a shop to get them installed anyway.

Thanks so much!
