110 Raider Bar/Side Steps - Land Rovers Only

To fit these side bars to my 200tdi 110 I have had to remove the front mud flaps as the end of the bars snag them.

Are there any alternatives that fit round these bars?

I just bolted on the side steps on my 110. I used a saws-all to trim the steps back a few inches and all is well.

I have been looking at fitting some of these side bars. This sounds like a bit of a job fitting them. Are they hassle?

Any pics would be much appreciated, to help m,ake a decision.
