1993 Defender Restoration by Auto Design NYC

Hello everyone. My name is Stefano, owner of Auto Design NYC based out of Manhattan. We recently completed a ground-up build on a 1993 Defender that I though you would enjoy.

This Defender came to us as pretty much just a shell over a year ago and was worked on in stages. Here is our finished product.

The vehicle was finished in a Line-X Premium coating, and got custom diamond plate trim around the exterior along with new wheels, tires, and many other accessories

Some of those accessories include light bars, new headlights, a winch, etc etc.

The interior was also completely restored. Almost everything had to be re-finished, changed, or fabricated. Here we have the new gauges that were put in the upholstered dashboard.

Here are the new shift knob and handle, etc.. If you look closely you can also see the floor is also finished with Line-X. When it first came to us we gutted what was brought to us, did a ton of interior and exterior body work, and made this thing about as future proof as it gets

Cool looking ride! Wish I had the $$$$ to spring on one like this.

Just curious, what brand intake/snorkel did you use here?
Thanks for sharing.
