I've got a 2.25 NA (basically the same, just smaller).
All these in-direct injection engines will puff out some blue smoke when you start from cold, and will do so for about 5 minutes until they warm up inside. You shouldn't get blue smoke when you start it when warm- you should get a small puff of black. If you're getting blue smoke when warm, the injection pump timing needs to be adjusted. Jack
