Default 97 defender doors

I am building a hybrid truck and am wondering what to do for windows in the 97 defender doors I have. I do not believe there are any tracks or glass in the door. so i need the lifting mechanism, tracks and glass. I have discovery doors with glass and regulators and stuff. will the disco stuff help me at all?

Nope, all that stuff is unique to D doors. They changed the lift regulator mounting in Defender doors, in 2002 or so, but I think it's the same regulator.
There are 7 trim pieces and 3 tracks, plus a few stainless selftapping screws.

All the Defender doors are fairly compatible - here's an exploded view of a manual wind door.

Don't have a pic of an electric window, sorry.

Cheers

That's true if your swaping the entire door, however the internal construction of late doors differs from early ones, such that using early regulators requires some slight modification to the inside off the late doors in order to mount them.
