Was driving my D110 as a daily driver but the 2.5NAD just isn't enough. So now I drive a HDJ-81 Landcruiser for DD and tow vehicle.
So my poor Defender was up for sale but hte wife I may as well keep it. YEEHAA. Anyway, I was thinking about taking off the hard top, sell it and buy a soft top instead. I guess I'll just use the Defender as a weekend toy in the summer time (98% of the time) and as a second badass winter vehicle (2%) for when the wife's car can't make it into work. Other choice is get a pickup top instead and just take it off as need be to go cruising. What are folks thoughts? Pros and cons of each. Thanks all. |

Gowyn, just put on series doors, you can take off the door tops then... glad to see you are not selling the defender, although you did at least buy a decent "other" truck.... hahha

hi Andrew,
got series doors already. Trying to decide between pu cab or full soft top. More fun going topless... Yeah the other rig is something else, tons of balls and nice piece of kit, not the same as the 110 though |
