I have about 20 trucks in stock. This economy sucks, but i won't give up on my Landy's. Please check out my web site at Red Mountain Rovers and if you dont see what you are looking for, i can get anything you want.
the 1998 i purchased from a guy that bought it from a police auction. it even has a title that says 1998 defender. I have a few more defenders that i will be posting on the website shortly.
i'm pretty sure it really doesn't matter what year it is as long as you have a title. especially when the title is issued to you from a police auction with a government notary and dot release stapled to it.
I have a 1993 200Tdi Defender 90 Hard top for sale!
It has 93,000 miles on the clock and is all original,The landy is in outstanding condition.
It will be avalible in Feb 2009 in Vancouver BC.
army, if you look it up, you will see that it is legal if sold by government/police auction.
whtat probably happened was some sap tried to import it and got it taken away when he couldn't get it legalized to the safety specs required, then it was sold at auction for much cheaper than the guy probably bought it for. then the guy that bought it at auction sold it to RRR.
i went over there the other day. they waved me down from the street, talked rovers with me for a while, and then gave me a free spare tire cover and offered to let me drive a defender, even though i told him there's no way i could afford one. these guys are real enthusiasts and just wanted me to experience driving a defender, as i never have before.
