First, does anyone have exerience of fitting a rear bulhead removal bar (like those fitted on new D90 SWs? EvansUK produce them, and I'm planning to fit one to replace the damaged bulkhead on my vehicle.
Second, the vehicle in question is a 109, and though I'm nearly certain the measurements at the front of the tub are the same as Defenders, I'd appreciate confirmation, or indeed, contradicton, if anyone knows better! |

Well, there was a magazine ( LRe or LROi ) a few months ago that had a fotos for DIY bulkhead replacement like the one you described, and I've seen pictures somewhere in the web.
I'll try to find it again!

The company's website is on www.evansuk.ltd.uk - I had a good look and I reckon it'll fit, but I was trying to get opinions from anyone who has fitted one. I suppose it's too new a product - I'll get one and let you all know how I get on in a couple of months.

there is an alternative bulkhead replacement bar made by I think Mud UK. It is easier to fit, as you don't have to chop out the whole bulkhead. It is a bar which replaces the upper section just above the level of the wheelboxes. I think it costs about £80.
