Default Defender 90 build up and upgrades...

Some estranged person with deep pockets offered me a rediculous amount of cash for my Bushie so im thinking of purchasing a 94 or 95 Defender. I will mostlikely buy one thats beat up, take it down to the frame, and rebuild it. I am curious to anyones sugesstions or ideas as to what mods they would do? What lifts do you like? Whut stock components would you upgrade? What weak areas would you improve? What brands and parts do you like best? Who has the best prices on parts?

Thank You in advance for your insight.

Is your truck a wheeler or pavement pounder with a little dirt time?? Because those two dictate a totally diffrent build direction.

It will be both. I dont own vehicles I cant drive to where im going wheeling no matter how much wear it puts on my MTR's. Im not looking to gear it so low that I cant drive it on the street, but most people I knows rigs are street legal, and that would be my intention. I dont care how it drives, thats what bmws are for.....

Is it a difficult task to convert a non jump seat Defender? Does anyone know where to score a set of 4 jump seats?
