Defenders Imported - Land Rovers Only

I was looking at a friend's '93 D110 and the x (don't remember which) out of 500 on the back reminded me that I have been meaning to ask how many of each year D90 were imported. I have #167 in '94. I just don't know out of how many. Couldn't find it on the internet, and did a quick search here. Anyone know?
