engine implant 2.8 Mitsubishi - Land Rovers Only

Hi

I want to change my engine on my Defender 90 to a 4M40 2.8l Mitsubishi.
Does anybody know what Land Rover gearbox will fit that engine ?

What country are you in?

Just curious but why that engine?

I am in Sri Lanka.
While the factory 2.5 DSE puts 136bhp, you have to wind up to 4,400 rpm to get it, while the Mitsubishi unit offers 123bhp at just 2,500 rpm.
This engine is available here and is much cheeper and reliable then the Land Rover engine.
