In my case, the speedo was 'cooked' in the fire, and the used on I got read 14k+ more than the old one, so I stuck a clear dymo tape on the front of the speedo that said "-14xxx" (don't remember exactly what the difference was) it only helps me to remember what my 'true' mailage is. It's kinda a moot point, as I have no plans to sell the truck.
