Had to stall the 200Tdi to get it to stop, so presumed the fuel cut-off solenoid had jammed open. Used to be easy to open and clean the solenoid on the early Tdis but once under the bonnet I couldn't find it on the bulkhead where it used to be. Am I right in assuming it is now built in to the injector pump? How easy is it to get at and clean/grease/replace? Haynes/LR manual and parts manual are all pretty hazy on this job and I've not found anything on this or other LR sites. Does this job never need doing?
