Default Fuel leak

Could someone please help a mechanically challenged D90 owner. As I understand it, there is a fuel pump, a supply line, a return line, a fill hose, and various other hoses. These have all been checked and I still smell gas. Help please.

Not too knowledgeable on the Defender, but have you checked the vapor lines and canister for leaks? The purge valve might be sticking, causing a buildup of vapor at the canister, or if the canister is plugged, it could cause a buildup of vapor in the tank which eventually vents and can also cause a strong fuel odor.

Replaced fuel lines to and from engine, and fuel mileage practically doubled. Still don't know which one was leaking, and don't care. Go big "D"
