My Brother in law has asked me to look at a V8 for him before he buys. i am sure he said it was a 3.8 but i am lead to believe it should be a 3.9. Can anyone give advice on what this engine is like and common things to look for.
i am an army Mechanic of 18 years however this isnt an engine i am familiar with. any links to sites with info on this engine would be appreciated. cheers mick |

Rover engines came in 3.5, 3.9, 4.0, 4.2 & 4.6. Basically, they are old 70s Buick engines (215-300). Check out RPIV8 or D&D for some more info.
