Loud Carb Bang

Hello ... I own a 93 110 pick up with a 3.5 twin carb v8 .. a few weeks ago i noticed the truck was vibrating and shaking more than normal and when i reach speeds up to 100-110 kph or when the engine is under pressure as in dune bashing i would hear a very loud bang and the engine dies then restarts in a couple of seconds .. so I removed the hood and drove the car hard and found that it was coming from the right carb ... I've never delt with twin SU s before so any Ideas ....

Are you sure they are SUs and Not Strombergs? In either case, look for a vacuum leak somewhere on the intake of the offending carb.

Thanks for the reply but all the vacuum hoses have been removed 3 years ago except the ones going to the distributor & the brake master cylinder and they are fine ...
