Got an email from my buddy that is doing a rebuild on his 1986 110. He is going to install his raised air intake from mantek. Here is what he wrote....
"The raised air intake I have is Mantec, yes the instructions are worse than the fuel tank. Ineed pictuires if possible from any 110/Defender of the fitting especially thru then fender. Can you help? Cheers Ken" So I guess the question is, does anyone have pictures of a mantek raised air intake they could post? Since it is a mantec, please only post mantec (homemade snorkel pics will not help with the sorting out of this issue.) As well he is planning on using the cutouts in the chequer plates on the top pf the wings to route the raised air intake. Thanks...

I have no idea what's involved in putting one on a Disco, but if you are smart enough to put a round peg in a round hole, then you can put one on a 110. There's about 8 parts total, and I don't even remember if mine came with instructions.
I didn't have to resize, so here's a few pics. |
