Default need safari snorkel in US

I need to source a snorkel in the US for a '94 defender 90 4 cyl diesel TDI left hand drive.

any recommendations?

You've got 2 choices of the Safarigard snorkel; The one which is wingtop mounted or, in the case of a LHD Tdi, the left side wing mounted unit. Either can be had from Rovers North. There are other plastic ones available, but the cyclone top used by Safarigard is the best for dust extraction.

hey thanks, sent them an email to make sure we get the right unit as it will be traveling with a friend to Africa for us.

My machine is imported from France so not sure if that make an installation difference. The heater takes up the upper right of the engine compartment and there is no left hand side wall opening just right hand.

Well, I had a major Brain Fart, because I meant to say Mantec, not Safarigard. You don't need to have your friend lug it all that way, and then get hassled by customs when they enter SA. Just order it directly from the UK. Even with shipping it will be less than bought over here.
