Actually, if you check out today's entry at Land Rover News, they discuss a patent pending for an airbag system for rollbar equipped vehicles. Furthermore, there's another post about Land Rover's desire to move the refresh timeline up for the Defender as the Defender would be in a better position sales wise in emerging markets.

Then again, it's all speculation so I wouldn't get too excited about the scuttlebutt.

My source ( no LR CEO ) told me that they have been screwing with a deadline of a Defender NAS for 2010 model.

He said that the only hold up appears to be the Powertrain as we all know EPA could be a little crazy with diesel.

How much truth on this..well I took as we most will ..WITH HOPE

i wonder what the pricing will be if it came here......lol its like the skyline GTR of the 4x4 world. everyone wants one, but no one has the time or money to import them.
