2005 would have been a TD5, not 300 Tdi.
The basic truck is unchanged. The new, 2007 has an entirely redesigned dash and heating/cooling system. The engine is a 4 cyl Ford with 6 speed gearbox, as opposed to the TD5 5 cyl, with R380, 5 speed. |

Main differences would be RHD, diesel, manaul R380 gearbox (no auto's available). Traction control would be standard. NAS 90's where quite unique as they had the 3.9/ EFI V8 and available with auto's. Only the 50th Anniversary models here in the UK had the V8 and auto. NAS 90's also didn't have the front opening air vents, all UK models until the new 2007 2.4 litre one that is. The Bikini soft top was also uique to the US as a soft top 90 hasn't been available in the UK since the 1980's. Lstly the center bulk head on the NAS 90's was different, I think this or a variant was eventually carried over to the UK models but I couldn't tell you what year. 2005 also saw a slightly different doors, pressed no welded at the top, but no all examples have the later doors, although I don't think they make any odds. The dash while essentially the same gained more plastic and less storage space over the years and a/c was available which took up knee room and pushed the rad grill out an inch or two.

Only the 1997, with 4.0 Gems engine, came as an auto. 1994 & 1995 had 3.9 with R380. |
