Default New Doors

I finally got sick of looking at the little freckles along the bottom edges of all four doors, and have four new ones coming. I find it hard to believe that in 55 years, LR never thought it necessary to modify the "clinched aluminum on steel frame" design.
I guess I'll thoroughly soak the interior with Waxoyl after I get them back from the paint shop.
I understand from George Laird, at Rovers Down South, where I got the doors, that there is a change in the interior brackets to which the window regulators mount. My Defender is a '93. Is there anyone else, who has changed the doors themselves, who can comment on remounting the window regulators in the new style door? As it is explained to me, it is necessary to modify the new doors in order to use the original regulators.
