Default Power Steering

Hi all i have a prob with my power steering on my 1990 200tdi disco when im sat on the drive it works fine i both left and right. But when out on the road and you turn the steering to 45 degrees it gose very tight and then goes back to norm. I have checked the belt tention and it is tight and it had a recon pump about 5000 miles ago.

Thanks

DEAD SPOT IN THE BOX, POSSIBLY. NEW STEERING GEAR SHOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM
