Default roll cages

HI ll

Wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to get a roll cage fitted - just for safety front and rear hoop - without it costing an arm and a leg. everywhere I go seems to be upto @ £1000 !!

Would be grateful if anyone knows anyone etc

thanks

Check out your local welding shops, they can bend tubing and weld it up for alot less then what you would have to spend to buy a ready made cage.
I did this for both of my bumpers and sliders and landed up with a better set up then I could have bought from the market.

To be safe I would go to "Safety Devices" www.safetydevices.co.uk . Be carefull you dont end up getting somthing that is purly cosmetic that some places sell.

You could also try www.qtservices.co.uk I'm sure they do some too.

I'll be getting a full external cage for my 90 from Safety Devices by the summer hopefully... Cant wait.. means I can risk more offroading

hi pal, where in england are you? me and my two mates ( all timed served engineers / coded welders ) started making cages about four years ago, just to pay for our hobby, weve done 34 so far plus full chassis etc, we could do the work for a fraction of that!!! e-mail me on howie@clarke737.fsnet.co.uk
