Default Selling my 110 to the USA

As I've recently bought a new 110 project, I consider selling my 1983 110 SW to the USA after finishing rebuilding it on a new Genuine Parts galvanised chassis. As far as I can see, this is a more North-American related Land Rover forum, so that's why I'm asking some questions here about the import rules.

As it's more than 25 years old, will it be accepted in all states? And how about the more modern 300Tdi, might that be a problem when exporting to the USA? It's correctly documented on the paperwork. And what about the chassis?

Welcome to the forum!

As your 110 is 25 years old, importing it into the USA shouldn't be a problem, normal paperwork and bureaucratic hassles aside.

I don't think that the 300Tdi is a problem, but others will know more about that than myself.

What price were you asking and do you have any pictures available?

Thanks for the information! Sounds postive, so I'll keep the option open...

Have some pre-rebuild pictures of it:

Will look pretty much the same once finished, just converted to LHD with a rust free bulkhead and some major under bonnet difference to the 2,25L petrol you don't see on the pictures
