Default should I stay or should I go?

Hi everyone .
Big decisions face me thinking of selling my 2001 Defender with 138000km for a 2000 if im lucky or 99-98 rangie with 90000- 150000km .My defender has not missed a heart beat but feel the need to set up a cool hse off roader with a bit more comfort.I payed 28500 for my defender 12 months ago spent 5000 on accesories ,thought of selling it for 28000.Then purchasing a RR for 27-20000
and kitting it out is this ok or just foolish ? already own a 99 v8 disco
I have always liked the rangie and think that with a few modifications the RR would be just as good do you? I am no 4wd racer but am not shy at testing my LR . Any ideas ? I do love my defender and recomend them to any one I just want to set up a kick arse rangie so I can be as plush when those boys pull up in there Nissan Patrols or Toyota Landcruisers do you know what I mean ? or am I mad? I am so sick of hearing people say that Rangies are to plush for the bush but then I am no 4wd guru just a guy with a Land Rover disease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
opinions appreciated even looked at a few p38 Rangies
have a happy holiday season to all.

Personally, I'd keep the Defender, and turn it into a "kickarse" truck.

The RR is a very capable vehicle, in fact, the most capable of all 4x4 in my opinion. It's a tough call deciding whether to sell the Defender for the RR, but ultimately it's your call. Personally, as I said, I'd mod the defender.
No doubt other members on this forum will add their thoughts and suggestions. Glad you got the avatar working.
