Hi Guys,
Im new to all things Land Rover, and as yet don't have a vehicle! That aside, im keen to get into them; we have had Jeeps before so im not completely new to the whole idea, but with Wranglers being a bit out my price-range, im now looking for an affordable way to get a fun vehicle that can work pretty hard too. Anyhow, I am looking at getting a 90 Truck Cab (the truck cab cos it would best suit my carrying junk around needs, and also I think they look better anyway), but want to know what you require to make it into a soft-top. Obviously you will need to buy the top itself, but I really want to know if there is any other frame requirements etc, and roughly how much it will set me back if there is. Also, if anyone has any experience of using these soft tops, how easy is it to switch between the hard and soft tops and how effective are the soft tops in the rain? The difficulty of the job isnt so much of an issue as the cost of all the bits, as ill only be spending between £1-2k on the Landy anyway and need to factor in these kind of things before anything is purchased. thanks in advance! ![]() |
