Default Swaybar Disconnects?

Greetings ya'll,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with swaybar disconnects for a D90. I have seen them for Discos and RRs, but not for a Defender.

Is it impossible to do this on a Defender because the swaybar links are so short?

Has anyone simply removed their swaybars? My old '89 RRC had no swaybars..as a result, it didn't exactly handle like a BMW whilst cornering.

Thanks for the input,
Jason

I don't have any problems without the front, but without the back its a bit scary at highway speeds with the lift and tires. I just cut the back one and eliminated a section of pipe and welded a larger section on so that they would slide into each other . then drill a hole all the way through and insert pin with lock. About a one hour job.
