Greetings all,
I recently purchased a 2001 TD5 wagon for mission use. I love the truck, but really wish it had a tachometer. Do any of you know how best to make that happen, such as where to buy a tach for installation, and then, where best to install it? Also, when I put an alarm on this truck, I was told alarms can not open and close the back door due to the "unusual" latch/lock. Is this true, or was the technician just not well informed? Thanks so much for your help, I consulted this board before making the purchase, and was glad I did. |

You can buy a tacho as an original part from LR for the Td5.You can get it as a complete kit with instructions or just the tacho by its self(half the cost)If you do a google search on Td5 rev counter you can down load instructions and fitting is fairly straight forward.
